We thank you for the unity we have discovered in Christ\, and the love that binds us toget her. We thank you for the experiences we have shared over the years and th e bond they have created between us. We thank you for the care we have bee n able to show and the care we have in turn received. We thank you for the opportunities we have had to discuss our faith and the way our understand ing of you has grown as a result. \nLent Prayer Group - Thursdays during Lent 7:30pm
\nFebruary 18\, 25\; March 4\, 11\, 18\, 25 \, 31.
\nLord\, teach us to pray - “But when you pray\, go into your room\, clos e the door and pray to your Father\, who is unseen.” (Mt 6:6) Jesus invite s us to learn to pray during this Lent with six weekly sessions either fac e-to-face or via Zoom at home. Under the gentle guidance of Trappist monk\ , Fr Thomas Keating\, we learn to recognize our True Self\, our union with each other and the presence of God in our hearts and in our world. We mee t on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm in the Parish Meeting Room or on Zoom. We will have a DVD talk by Fr Keating\, a short discussion and a time of gui ded centring prayer. Please join us.
